Golden Lab Retriever
The golden lab retriever rescue kennels are easily found.
Mixed types of dogs usually look very much like their ancestors and have the same temperament and disposition. This mix retains retrieving instincts on water and land and makes good hunting companion and lovable family pets. These dogs are very active and need plenty of exercise. Their water-repellent coat allows the dogs to swim in cold water; keen sense of smell and endurance allow the dogs to find the game. But if you want a guarding dog, this type is not for you, because it lacks protectiveness and is unlikely to attack.

Golden Lab Retriever -
rescue, kennels
The demand for a specialized dog emerged in the 19th century when hunters started to use guns. Hunters had to make their way through bushes to reach the game and there were no dogs suited for performing this task. Training other hunting breeds to find and fetch killed or wounded game was not successful. To excel in fetching game, dogs should have a soft mouth and a good sense of smell. Besides, these dogs have to be small enough to fit the boat, yet large and strong enough to bring the game. Newfoundland, Setter, and other breeds were crossed to produce a new breed. The golden lab retriever rescue kennels are easily found.
