If you are a novice owner, it is recommended to buy an older puppy or a mature dog. This breed is very adaptable to any lifestyle and older dogs bought from a reputable breeder are already housebroken, know many commands and have formed many behavior patterns. A properly raised and socialized dog loves human companionship and should not be left alone for a long time. If you want to own a puppy, take it home only after it is 8-10 weeks of age, because it has to learn canine socialization from the mother.
